    when the focus is shifted from the music to the artist, that’s when we all lose. if i wanted to see a bunch of dolled up women dance around on stage to inane, commercialized music, i’d go to a strip club. at least there you’re guaranteed to see some skin. music is art, and when ‘bands’ like these put out albums all it accomplishes is the collective retardation of humanity. in the last decade it’s just become worse and worse. now it’s become a quest to locate any new, real music. you can’t rely on tv, radio, or advertising anymore because they’re all owned one way or another by a major record label. you’re essentially being told what to listen to and what to like. and we’re all just eating it up.

    so, are the pussycat dolls revealing a little too much? tough question. i’d have to say yes and no.
    yes they are, for musicians. which they are not. and no they are not for stripers, which they are more than they are musicians.

    and if you’re going to argue that they are musicians because they’re decent singers and maybe ‘co-wrote’ a song or two, then you’d be wrong. that doesn’t make them any more of a musician then it makes me an engineer because i can change the oil in my car.
