Desperate housewives are desperate for Emmy’s. So desperate that they decided to boycott it since they haven’t been nominated. Don’t they get it? Nobody wants to see their “perfect” botox faces anymore.
“Four Desperate Housewives stars – Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross and Nicollette Sheridan and – are reportedly refusing to attend the Emmy ceremony next month , because they weren’t nominated for any awards. The show was nominated for 15 Emmys in 2005, but received only one acting nomination this year – for Alfre Woodard as Best Supporting Actress In A Comedy. A source close to the actresses tells the Los Angeles Times, “None of them are going. Felicity Huffman may go as a presenter because she won the lead actress Emmy last year and they usually have last year’s winner present this year’s award. But the rest of them are definitely not going.”

Is this a publicity stunt, because it is going to backfire! Audiences don’t like actresses that are full of themselves. They especially don’t like seeing Diva attitudes from previous D-list actresses.
Them not showing up is also an insult to all the other actors and actresses nominated. It’s like there saying I’m better than you, and I don’t respect you, or your work, so I’m not even going to waste my time sitting among you, or congratulating you for your hard work and dedication to your craft. I see a real cool breeze in Hollywood coming their way if they dare boycott. They’ll all be out of jobs in two years, and them blacklisted by their peers.
Smarten up ladies you don’t have enough clout in Hollywood to pull off this move!!
