What about it!! She’s just saying that because (their) mom’s are sisters (and probably have a close relationship as well), it contributes to her (BRITNEY and her cousin being close.)
Perhaps Britney feels that the relationship with her cousin would be different if her cousin was from her father’s side of the family.
I think everyone knows what she meant by that, but will make it seem another way!
Britney has never come out as the smartest one.. so quotes like this is not that surprising. But everyone can make misstakes like that…
