They both realized that they were not really living the lives they wanted. I think Brad acted ethically by ending his marriage when he realized that he was falling in love with Angelina. I also think Angelina acted just as ethically, not starting an affair with Brad until he had ended his marriage, and had made a decision about what he wanted his relationship to be with both her and her child. You can't predict what is going to happen in life, nor can you predict what fate has in store for you. I think these two were meant to be together. They have the same idea, about the path they want to follow in their lives, and about what is important to them, and they were both honest about this. I think the best thing you can do in this life is be honest, and to live the life you really want. It all works out for the best, and now they all (including Jennifer), can find, the person they are truly meant to be with.
