Breaking news: Stuart Damon fired from General Hospital

Stuart Damon fired from General Hospital

After spending 30 years (yes 30) on the set of General Hospital, Stuart Damon is leaving.
The truth is he got fired, and he’s character will end tragically – in other words he’ll die.
Some speculation by creative online fans conjured up a major storyline twist revealing that Alan had actually murdered Rick Webber – and that during his arrest Alan would suffer a massive heart attack and die.

ABC is not giving out too much and a final airdate for Damon is not yet available, his exit, however, is.

I think that really stinks that they are getting rid of Stuart Damon of General Hospital. That would be like getting rid of Susan Lucci of All My Children. This is just sooooo wrong on soooo many levels.

Mr. Damon, is a consummate professional, and will be sorely missed both by his long term fans, and inevitably by General Hospital. Taking him off the show, is like moving the anchor of a shopping center ou of the mall and expecting business to continue as usual…

He is an anchor and a stabilizing force… For heavens sake, at least write him out with the chance of being brough back, instead of being written off… 30 years on the jog and this is his reward, what a great lesson for young viewers that are in the process of considering their their future….

    Nice Move ABC

I agree with Dawn on this web page. I really like Stuart Damon and think that like other great couples you can”t have Alan without Monica and vice versa.
I know that in real life there are hardships with people dying loved ones, etc.
With the Quartermaines though, they had the death of Anna Lee, Lila, and other disasters, so with the remaining family members they still acted like a rather cohesive yet dysfunctional unit and with Stuart’s-Alan’s wit and sense of humour he will be sorely missed. What ever the reason he got fired, I think it will be a great loss for the General Hospital family as a whole and also the fan base!

Thank you…..Mike Beckwith and Anne Lawrence

I think that it is not a logical decision to get rid of a actor that has come a long way from Cinderella. It is the loss of the show and the public that watched it. He is a very distiguised and fine actor.
