I swear it’s not a joke or some new movie she’s in. The word on the street is some gangsters were planning a plot about it, while she was on a visit to an unnamed destination in the capacity of a Goodwill Ambassador for the UNHCR. The plan was to kidnap Angie and than blackmail Brad, for a multimillion dollar ransom.

“It was in a small village. I won't say where, or with whom, but some gangsters planned to kidnap me and extort a massive ransom. I was warned at the last minute, and managed to escape, luckily."

But fear not — Angie insists that she’s not about let one kidnap plot scare her away from the work she does for she wants to do her bit in lending a helping hand to underprivileged people.

"I don't want to act like the Mother Teresa of Hollywood," she said. "But I want to help where there is poverty and destruction."
