Michelle Rodriguez checked into a Lynwood, CA, jail Sunday afternoon to begin serving a previously arranged sentence for violating probation stemming from a hit-and-run charge and DUI arrest.

She got arrested in Hawaii for DUI in December 2005, was ordered by the court to check in by December 24 to serve a 180 day sentence after she admitted to violating her probation. Michelle was drinking alcohol while wearing an alcohol-monitoring device and she also failed to provide proof of completion of her community service — according to the L.A. City Attorney's office. She’s expected to serve full sentence and no bail was set.
