In the TV special “Love Smart,” to be broadcast on Valentine’s Day, Dr. Phil McGraw is helping the “American Idol” judge find a man. He is sending Abdul on 10 blind dates in hopes that they can find someone who’s comfortable with her fame and isn’t “overwhelmed by her emotions,” according to advance press.

On the show, a source says, Abdul “sobs like the most distraught ‘American Idol’ reject” over her love life woes.

“It’s all so weird because Paula has a boyfriend,” a source tells The Scoop. “She’s been dating this model named Dante Spencer for months.” Abdul’s spokeswoman’s office insists that the two broke up “a while ago” — but couldn’t say when.

“They’ve been around, even in public in the last week, being all kissy and lovey,” says the insider, who insists that the romance is very much alive. “I haven’t asked him how he feels about this, but he’s very protective of her, so I imagine he’s just willing to go along with it all.”

ANOTHER Naomi Campbell assistant has bitten the dust. The sybaritic supermodel parted ways with her latest underling on a British Airways London-L.A. flight last week. Before boarding, Naomi was heard complaining on the phone about service. Then, she turned on her assistant. "Naomi was angry because some dresses didn't get where they were supposed to go, and the assistant yelled that she was quitting," says our snitch. "Passengers complained to the stewardess, who was going to get the pilot, when they stopped their screaming match. Then they didn't speak to each other for several hours." Campbell's rep didn't return calls.

VINCE VAUGHN threw a 37th birthday party for girlfriend JENNIFER ANISTON at her Malibu, California, mansion – catered by fast food chain McDonalds.

The low-key celebration was attended by a few of Jen’s closest friends.

The birthday celebration was a far cry from the lavish, star-studded Beverly Hills bash former husband BRAD PITT threw for her last year (05).

Life & Style has learned exclusively that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have agreed to call off their wedding — and, ultimately, to split.

Multiple insiders confirmed the story to Life & Style, with one longtime friend of Tom’s saying: “Their relationship is basically over.” Another friend adds: “They both agreed that the marriage wouldn’t work and they wanted to end it before they learned to hate each other.”

The insiders say that Tom and Katie, plan to keep up the charade of a romance until after their baby’s birth this spring. In the meantime, the couple will live in his Beverly Hills home — though sleeping in separate bedrooms — through the summer. Then, presumably, they’ll announce a separation — but Tom plans to buy Katie a home nearby so he can visit his child whenever he wishes.

“They’ll share custody,” says the friend, who claims the couple are drawing up a legal document to provide for Katie’s and the baby’s financial well-being for life. “Tom will set up Katie and the baby,” adds the pal.
UPDATE: I’ve just found out Paul Bosh, Tom’s rep exclusively tells Star, “This is totally and 100 percent untrue". Hmm I bet there was something, you know what they say: "Where There’s Smoke, There’s Fire"!

And sheriff is not alone, in fact whole Nevada gaming regulators are backing him up. Gaming Control Board has sent a note to remind casinos that they are responsible for anything that happens in nightclubs.
