I knew this was going to happened. Tome has sealed his destiny in Hollywood. His behavior is far from what we expected. And it’s not the media and the fans that are seeing these, but big Hollywood moguls as well.
Paramount Pictures dropped Tom this week. Tom’s reps went furious and attacked Paramount for their act.
Sumner Redstone – the head of Viacom, the company which owns Paramount – ended their 14 year deal with the star on Wednesday (08.23.06) blaming Tom's conduct.
Redstone said: "His recent conduct has not been acceptable to Paramount.”As much as we like him personally, we thought it was wrong to renew his deal."
Richard Lovett – the president of the Creative Artists Agency that represents Tom hits back saying:
"That a mogul like Sumner Redstone could make a statement so vicious, so pompous, so petulant as that he didn't want to make a deal with Tom Cruise because of his personal conduct – it tells you more about Sumner Redstone and Viacom than about Tom Cruise."
