I’m so happy to announce that Katie Holmes won’t be taking any part of the new Batman squeal “The Dark Knight”, because, what she says, her ”scheduling conflicts”.
'Katie was offered [Dark Knight] but was unable to accept the role because of scheduling conflicts,” Julie Polkes, a spokeswoman for Holmes, tells the WSJ. She was in the process of negotiating for another project. In addition, when she returns to work, she would like to tackle a new character."
Looks like Katie will trade this offer with the one she got recently for the Mad Money up coming movie. This will be a comedy about three female Federal Reserve workers who plot to pocket old currency before it's destroyed. One of those two fellow actresses that are to be her costar, is Queen Latifah.
And even tho it has been said she’ll get only $250,000 for this role (where in Batman it was between $1 million to $2 million range) Katie does not want to be the part of it, which is not that sad at all, cause Katie was the worst part of Batman Begins ever.
