Britney arrived at the Roxy nightclub on Hollywood's Sunset Strip for a karaoke themed birthday party, but stormed out pretty quickly when the DJ played “Hit me baby one more time” in her honor.
One clubber said:
"It was a shock to see her in a wig after what she had done to herself. "While she was in the club she kept going to bathroom all the time, which was weird."
Britney’s mom Lynn left her Louisiana home for Los Angeles to be with her daughter today. Lynn fears for Britney’s health. But she’s not the only one. Brintey’s friends and family were said to fear she is on the verge of a nervous breakdown after grabbing shears and cutting off her hair at a salon in Tarzana, California.
The salon's owner, Esther Tognozzi, placed her hair on eBay, where bids have already topped $1 million.
"I would say please take your daughter and get her off the media circus," Ms Tognozzi said. "Take her home for a while and take care of her and her babies." Spears, a mother of two, has become increasingly erratic in her behaviour after splitting from husband Kevin Federline. She stripped to her underwear last week in a New York nightclub while partying with "professional dancers".
