The award-winning Hollywood actress recently posted a photo for her 54th birthday that has many intrigued by how she manages to stay in such great shape.

In Halle’s recent birthday video post, she looks amazing in her lingerie-inspired bikini and dark shades. Leaving fans breathless, she walks out of the ocean before pausing to shake her hair out of her eyes. We can agree she obviously has great genes (just look at her), but that bod doesn’t come without some discipline. Berry opened up about her routine and how she’s managed to live the life she wants while staying trim and keeping her diabetes in check. Berry works out regularly and snacks a LOT. The key is that she snacks on healthy foods. She has adopted a ketogenic diet and practices intermittent fasting, sitting down for her first meal at 2 pm. Intermittent fasting and ketogenic diets are considered extreme and hard to maintain in the long term. Halle stands by them saying that “they work for me.”
