A tweet made by the 62-year-old tv host back in June 2009 has resurfaced and everyone is talking.

The Ellen Show is currently under investigation following the Buzzfeed article that sparked the “toxic work environment” scandal. The tweet in question reads, “I made one of my employees cry like a baby on today’s show. Honestly, it felt good.” Ellen has yet to comment since her decade-old tweet emerged from the shadows and it is unclear whether these were tears of joy or sadness. Shortly after the tweet resurfaced, three of the show’s producers, Ed Glavin, Kevin Leman, and Jonathan Norman resigned. That can’t be a great sign if two of the executive producers and one of the co-executive producers have left the building. Ellen has had some notable stars speak out in her defense like comedian Kevin Hart.

What do you think? Were those tears of joy or sadness?
