Heidi Klum is asking for an emergency court hearing so that she can travel to Germany with her four children to film the next season of Germany’s Next Top Model.
The 47-year-old supermodel claims that ex-husband Seal is not allowing her to travel with the kids to Europe out of concerns for the coronavirus. The former couple shares custody of their 4 children, Leni, 16, Lou, 10, Henry, 14, and Johan, 13. Klum is contractually obligated to film season 16 of Germany’s Next Top Model in October and she has always brought her kids with her. On this occasion, the 57-year-old musician “has not yet approved of this trip.” Heidi made the following statement in her filing, “I am well aware of all of the necessary precautions associated with the COVID-19 virus, and would never put our children at risk — I have taken all the precautions for Germany the same way I do in the United States.” Although Klum and Seal share custody, the children spend the majority of the time with her and that his “time with our children is sporadic at best.” Klum is willing to amend their custody arrangement if Seal will grant the children permission to go away with her. Apparently Seal had agreed back in April to allow the kids to travel but have since changed his mind. I wonder why (cough cough)? Rumor has it that Heidi is a bit desperate at the moment and had to resort to getting the courts involved. In her filing she included, “Also, as Henry [Seal] has a British passport, he would be able to visit the children while they are in Germany if he wishes to do so.” Seal has not yet responded to Heidi‘s filing.
What do you think Seal should do?
