Conway, the Counselor to President Trump, announced last night that she is leaving her position at the end of August to focus on her family.
Kellyanne has recently been in the news, not for her politics but because her 15-year-old daughter, Claudia Conway, is seeking emancipation. Claudia has been outspoken against her mother’s political views and the lack of “family” in her family life. After allegedly finding out that her mother will speak at the Republican National Convention on Saturday, the teen tweeted, “I’m (devastated) that my mother is actually speaking at the RNC. like DEVASTATED beyond compare.” Moments later she posted ” I’m officially pushing for emancipation. Buckle up because this is probably going to be public one way or another, unfortunately. Welcome to my life.”When announcing her resignation, Kellyanne stated “The past four years have allowed me blessings beyond compare as a part of history on Election Night 2016 and as Senior Counselor to the President,” Kellyanne started her statement, which she shared on Twitter. Kellyanne also announced that her husband, George Conway, will also step away from his position in The Lincoln Project. “Our four children are teens and ‘tweens starting a new academic year, in middle school and high school, remotely from home for at least a few months. As millions of parents nationwide know, kids ‘doing school from home’ requires a level of attention and vigilance that is as unusual as these times.”
I don’t know, was this Kellyanne’s decision, or was Claudia’s announcements something she couldn’t afford politically? What do you think?
