The pair have undoubtedly been through a lot. Just last month, Braxton credited her boyfriend for having saved her life after he found her unconscious.

Adefeso found Braxton unresponsive in her Los Angeles hotel room following her suicide attempt.

Adefeso recently filed a restraining order against the singer and reality TV star but she alleges that Adefeso is actually the aggressor. Yesterday, September 8th she claimed that Adefeso assaulted her and threatened to kill her in a “murder-suicide.” Sources close to Braxton say that the ex-couple had a heated altercation while driving to admit Braxton into a mental health facility for treatment. The argument allegedly ignited after Braxton questioned Adefeso about a recent post he made to Instagram featuring her 7-year-old son, Logan Herbert. Tamar allegedly accused David of “being around for the wrong reasons.” It was at that point that Adefeso allegedly threatened Braxton’s life as well as his own in adding that they’d end up in a “murder-suicide.” Sources close to Braxton said the argument turned physical when David “grabbed her hard” on the arms and caused bruising (there are photographs allegedly). David was quick to file a domestic violence restraining order in Los Angeles County Court asking a judge to order Tamar to keep her distance, although his allegations have not been revealed. Sources say that “Any claims that Ms. Braxton was the aggressor and/or abusive are completely false and have no merit. David Adefeso has been upset and abusive since seeing his own true colors on Tamar’s upcoming television show and has been taking it out on Tamar ever since.”

Man, this just sounds messy. Who do you think the restraining order should be against?
